JOS - Just One Sip
JOS - Just One Sip is a cover band/party band that specializes in classic/alternative rock and singer-songwriter genres. We focus on playing "one hit wonders" and songs that you may not have heard in a long time, but are sure to evoke a nostalgic "I LOVE that song" reaction. Our high-energy performances are filled with audience interaction and participation, creating an unexpected and fun experience full of music, laughs and memorable moments.
Time off in January
We'll be taking some time off in January to retool and develop some new setlists. This is the time when we go to "Band Camp" in a remote section of New Hampshire and get silly - I mean serious :) We take this time to create new originals but also decide which new songs we want to add to our growing list of songs. We'll be back soon!

Welcome to Just One Sip!
Just One Sip plays covers, mostly from classic/alternative rock and singer/songwriter genres. We focus on songs that are “one hit wonders” or songs you may not have heard in a long time, but the typical reaction is “I LOVE that song”! It’s always a high-energy experience loaded with audience interaction, and oftentimes, participation. Always lots of laughs and unexpected, ad-hoc moments.
We are a three-piece band that have been together for over 6 years: Electric guitar (Ed), Acoustic guitar (John) and the most fantastic Cajon (box-type percussion) set-up you will ever see (Scott). We play everywhere from Boston to New Hampshire for all kinds of venues: bars, restaurants, hotels, ski lodges, outdoor festivals, weddings, private and corporate events. You can expect about 30 songs over the course of 3 hours, but the set list changes often, based on the vibe – we “go with the flow”. No two shows are the same and it’s an experience that will bring you back again and again. We look forward to seeing you soon!

At Just One Sip, we offer an eclectic selection of music - from popular tunes to B-sides and 1-Hit Wonders. We aim to keep you guessing but you will recognize the song. We have over 100 songs to choose from so the setlist changes frequently and seasonally. We're constantly working on new songs so you never really know what you'll get! :)
